That’s what our youngest grandson says when he wants to be left alone. It was his third birthday yesterday. We celebrated at his house with just us two and his family. Rambunctious is a very accurate word to describe him. You should look that up. Anyway, we were on the rear deck and he was charging around on his balance bike. We’re buying him a proper bike for Christmas because we, and his parents, think he’s ready. His dad has coached him to ask if I’ve crashed my bike since the last time we saw him. Rotten kid. After he’d opened our two presents, he asked, “Are there any more?” We gave him a Lightning McQueen hat, amongst other things. He wore it to bed. I think he likes it. The thing about this kid is that he is so independent. He thinks he can do anything. He has the confidence to have a go at whatever he wants to do. Last weekend he was using the leaf blower to clean the back yard. His most used expression is “Me do it.” I hope he never loses that. “Me do it” is a have-a-go attitude. Most of us had it once. The Have A Go 30-day Challenge is about getting it back. Discover which part of your business is holding you back. Stay focussed on that immediate blockage until it’s cleared, then find the next blockage to work on. No cost, just have a go. He’ll probably say “Don’t see me” when I ask how the new bike’s going.
