I don’t look at my stats enough. I checked the numbers twice, and was shocked to see this: Visitors: 1,300 page views (1,171 unique), 30 Sept to 30 Oct. Sales: none. Where they came from: about 85% from one LeadsLeap ad. How long they stayed: most visitors stayed 5–10 seconds. About 60 stayed longer than 45 seconds. Anyone who clicked the buy button got a checkout page with no price on it. Did I miss out on sales? Maybe, I don’t know because that action isn’t tracked. What went wrong? LeadsLeap shows your page inside an iframe on its own site. My checkout wouldn’t load properly in there. I found this by clicking the link in LeadsLeap, not testing the URL to the page directly. The lesson is “test it the way your buyers see it”. And test everything more than once. Keep an eye on the stats. I’ve checked all the links in LeadsLeap now, and many of them had a similar issue. Sometimes it was an easy fix, sometimes it required changes to the funnel. The fix was moving the checkout to its own page. Now I’ll be looking for working links inside any platform that presents my page in an iframe. Regards, P.S. That one isn’t in Profit Wormhole. It cost me a month.
