A mate of mine paid his bills by lucky draw. Every Sunday he’d get out the shoebox. The shoebox filing cabinet is what he called it. That’s where all the unpaid bills were. He’d randomly draw one from the box and pay it. Then he’d repeat this until there was no money left. This system didn’t work very well, but he persisted. Partly because it amused him, and partly because he didn’t have a better way. He told me once that he had received a demand letter for one unpaid bill. He wrote them a letter stating that if they weren’t nicer to him, they’d miss out on next week’s draw. I don’t believe him, but it is possible. This is not a good way to live. Even bills need a system. A system is just rules you’ve agreed to follow. Tony Shepherd’s are in Profit Wormhole. One of them explains why a product called “Inner Sanctum Secrets” vanishes and one called “Dangerous Ideas” doesn’t. https://link.ckv.to/profit-wormhole Regards, |
