You would have seen many of these. Mostly on YouTube, but also on Socials etc. They claim things like, “I made $20k in two days with this AI prompt/tool”. Sure they did. Realistically, they might have, but what they don’t reveal is that they have built a massive audience first. That might have been built over multiple years, so now, when they release something, the sales flood in. It has very little to do with their product. It has a lot to do with their existing audience. Then, once people are hooked, they sell another $10k+ worth of ‘here’s exactly how I did it.’ Please don’t misunderstand me here. This is not a grizzle. I know people who do talk about their income and they’re upfront about how they do it. The people I don’t like are those who are less than honest about the reality of the big windfall. Those who want to pretend that it’s their amazing prompt or tool that made the money when anyone without a big audience would find that it didn’t do the same for them. Unfortunately, it seems that there are many people online who are far more interested in their bank account than yours even as they tell you otherwise.
