Assuming that you’re having the same issues with getting stuff done online due to the increase in social obligations. Much of what I wanted to have ready to go now, isn’t. As part of my testing I discovered several things of interest. The first one is that some of the websites I wanted to use as test beds were not working at all. I’ve fixed that. The second one is that one of the websites that was working, but I built in 2013 and haven’t touched since, has had a lot of traffic. According to my web host, in May 2025 that site got 1million visitors. Perhaps I should have monetised it better in 2013. Anyway, the site is still getting around 500 visitors a day, so I’ve fixed some of the monetisation. Why tell you this? It proves what I’ve been saying for a while, every web page gets traffic, no matter how badly they’ve been set up. But they do need to have at least one link pointing to them from some site with traffic. I’ve tested that as well. A site with no links pointing to it gets no visitors. They do not have to be SEO optimised to get some traffic, they do need that if you want to get a lot of traffic from the search engines. There are better ways. We’ll talk about that in a few days.
