I’m talking about a real website that you control. Just like a paid web host, but at a much better price. Yes, you can have a free site at places like Blogger.com, Wix.com, WordPress.com, Sites.google.com, and others, but you don’t control them. You help market their sites for them, and they limit what you can do without paying fees. What you often want is a place to test an idea. To build a temporary funnel where you can try stuff out. But paying hosting fees for the privilege of running some tests that you ultimately want to trash is not so much fun. Sure, a free web host will have some limitations, but that’s fine for testing. Most of these sites will allow you to migrate to a paid service, or a different host, when you need more features, but it’s not based on time, so you could have a free site running for years. Or weeks, if that’s all you need. I wrote a book on this subject. https://burt.gumroad.com/l/zero-risk. It’s set to pay what you want so you can get it for $0 if you need to. Regards, |
