Look around you. Everything you see inside your home came from somebody’s imagination first. The only things that didn’t come from a Human’s imagination are almost everything in nature. Almost because some have come from a Human’s imagination and have been modified in some way from nature. But imagination, on its own, isn’t any use at all because without action, it would all stay imaginary. It’s only fraudsters who try to fool people that something imaginary has substance, like cryptocurrencies, or royalty who get convinced that a particular cloth can only be seen by intelligent people. So, imagination is crucially important, but it can also be misused, and we are seeing a lot of that at the moment. Just because you imagine something doesn’t make it true. Sometimes imagination is just fantasy, and will remain so regardless of how many others join your fantasy. That doesn’t negate the value of imagination; it does mean that you need to validate your imagination with facts and reality. When everything checks out, then you can turn your imagination into a reality through the activity that leads to it. The best way to put your imagination to good use is to look at successful products and imagine how they could be made better or combined with a different product to create something different.
