That’s what our youngest son said this morning on his way to work. It’s not the first time he’s said that. He’s a chef in a very busy cafe. Mother’s Day is the busiest day of the year for them. His argument is that these people have mothers all year, so why do they all have to take her out on the same day? It’s a fair point. I’m pretty sure that most mothers would be happy to be taken out for a meal any day of the year. I have that on good authority from the mother in our home. But, I guess, when you ignore your mother all year the guilt trip kicks in for Mother’s Day. To all you Mothers reading this – I hope you either have had a great day or will have a great day.
