There is one feature of TikTok that I find unbelievable. You can take an existing viral video, post it to your account, and it’s likely to go viral there as well. How they allow this beggars belief, but apparently it’s true. This is how people kickstart their new TikTok accounts. You could take a collection of existing viral videos and post them so you get heaps of traffic. That smacks of blatant plagiarism and cheating, but the reports I’ve been seeing all indicate that TikTok is OK with that. I suspect that this loophole will be closed at some stage, but while it’s still dragging in eyeballs and keeping people glued to their screens it may persist. I’m not advocating you do this, but I thought you should know about it. You would be far better off working on getting better rankings in YouTube. YT has no issue with remixing video, but they do draw the line at outright plagiarism of someone else’s video. This means that you might need to do a little more research on the videos that are getting the traffic, which can take quite a bit of time. Fortunately, there is a tool that will assist you and speed up the research process. You’ll find more info here: https://go.wm-tips.com/tbuddy. Go take over your niche in YT. Regards, |
