As we travelled today we saw very few other vehicles. We thought the camping grounds would be deserted. But when we pulled into our campsite this afternoon there are approximately 50 other caravans, campers, motor homes and people in tents. Tonight we are in Goondiwindi, and tomorrow we move on to Esk. Since we left Melbourne seven days ago we have driven almost 1,400km. We did have a two day layover in Albury, and again in Dubbo. We are planning a 4 day rest at a campsite near Esk. Don’t you love those town names? You would have enjoyed some of the others we’ve driven through in the last week. The school holidays have started here in Queensland so finding a camping site might get a bit more difficult. Talking about appearances being deceiving, it’s the same with your book covers, titles, subject lines and images. All of those need to do their job of stopping the scrolling. That’s the first step. Get them to stop, then get them to read more. One thing you can do to help get the idea of what works is to take a screenshot every time something stops you scrolling.
