“I’ve only had one fine for speeding in all that time.” No, not me personally. I haven’t been driving that long and I’ve had accidents, been fined hundreds of dollars for speeding, and lost my licence multiple times. So not an unblemished record. But this 97-year old lady was appealing for her license to be restored after it had been cancelled. It was cancelled after taking two driving tests and failing both. In South Australia you fail your driving test if you accumulate more than 20 points for errors during the test. In her first test the instructor cancelled the test after she accumulated 182 points. In her second test, after taking a series of driving lessons she did improve. She only scored 123 points. What did she do wrong? She breached the road rules multiple times including by continuously driving in a bike lane, failing to give way, braking to a near stop in a 70km/h zone and obstructing other vehicles, and driving at 38km/h in a 60 km/h zone. She also failed to check mirrors and blind spots, and had to be stopped when she attempted to turn in front of approaching vehicles without enough room. Her doctor said she was medically fit enough to drive, but the tribunal refused to return her drivers license. Since she was driving around where I drive I’m happy that she won’t be out there. Now it’s time to get the rest of the idiots off the road. Regards, P.S. When people aren’t watching dog or cat videos they’re searching for things to solve their problems. There are several stages to their searching. They start with a general question, start to identify what they want, and then search for a solution. There are far more keywords and a much higher volume of traffic for the general searches than the latter keywords. When you can move them from the general search to the buying mode without leaving your site you can make a motza with el cheapo traffic. Use the generic keywords to get the SEO traffic, and use in post links to get them to the buying keyword pages. To help identify why they might be searching for a particular product and how the product solves their problem you can use AI to guide your research.
