…it’s either a very simple app , or you know exactly what you want the app to do.
If it’s a very simple app with a single task then almost any of the AI tools will help you write it.
This could be a WordPress plugin, an extension for a web browser, something to automate one of the steps you already do in your workflow that takes the most time, etc.
Once you get past that level of app you will need to have some ideas about what and how you want the app to function.
Honestly, it’s still way faster than coding anything by hand, but it’s not instant.
There is quite a lot of discussion in coding circles about non-coders using AI to create apps.
The issue is that non-coders don’t understand the security issues that coders integrate into all their public apps almost automatically.
Non-coders, as a general rule, don’t even think to ask the AI tool what they need to include for security.
The AI tools can include all the security you need, but they don’t unless asked.
They’re like teenagers, they can help, but they usually won’t unless specifically asked.
Take this game,
games.wm-tips.com
, because this has a form to fill in it has to have sanitising for the user input and other security measures included or it puts the entire server at risk of being hacked.
Until I put the form on there was minimal risk, but as soon as there’s a chance of someone entering something other than what’s requested, and they will, the security shutters have to come down.
Keep that in mind when using AI to create apps.

You probably have some PLR gathering cyber dust somewhere on your hard drive.
You also know that you ‘should’ rewrite it rather than just park it online attached to a sales page.
But that all seems too hard doesn’t it?
So, how do you spice it up and make it worth something in the eye of the beholder?
AI to the rescue.
Yes, and it won’t cost you any money to do this.
Grab the best of your PLR PDFs, more than one if you have them on the same subject or in the same niche.
Upload them to NotebookLM and ask NotebookLM to create a 100 page in-depth review of the subject matter.
Then ask for a 4 page summary of the subject matter.
Copy both of these and paste into a document somewhere.
Ask AI to make a cover for these documents because you’re going to make them into PDFs.
You can do that on Canva, or ChatGPT, or most of the others.
Set up a sales page for the big one, ask DeepSeek to write the sales page for you.
Put a tracking link to the sales page into the smaller one.
Take both to Napkin and add some relevant images into them, and export them as PDFs.
Park the big one on the Thank You page for your sales funnel.
Post the smaller one on all the document sharing sites you can find.
If you are prepared to spend a little money you can get someone on Fiverr or Fourerr to post it for you.
Super simple side-hustle.
Of course you can do the same with any Public Domain book you can find, check out Gutenberg for thousands of PD books.
All that’s required to do this is to do it, have somewhere to set up a sales funnel, a way to collect payment, and a way to deliver the PDF.
Here is a free solution to those requirements. https://go.wm-tips.com/systeme .

I did my usual 30 km morning bike ride, then helped my young brother with the final touches to moving into his new accomodation.
The difference between us is stark and a clear indication of how life choices have consequences.
He struggles to walk 100 metres and so spent most of the time I was packing things up sitting in a chair, exhausted.
He has lived alone for most of the last 60 years, and has clearly not eaten well.
That’s not the lifestyle I have.
You know I’m married for the second time, quite happily thanks for asking, and I’m not planning a third.
We eat a healthy diet without being extreme.
We both exercise regularly, and we are both in pretty good condition.
Everything you do has consequences.
Not always immediately, but they always arrive.
What did you do today that will lead to the consequences you want?
I know I didn’t do much, but what I did do will have the consequences I want.
Staying fit and healthy for as long as possible.
It’s important that you have goals in all aspects of your life, not just financially.
When you set them you also need to take the actions that will get you there.
Simple steps daily are the key.

P.S. This is how I work my goals, https://go.wm-tips.com/goals , this makes them much easier to reach.

Then we socialised for about 4 hours.
Anyway, that took care of what Saturday I had, and there was little chance on Sunday with more socialising required.
Regardless, the plans for the mobile version are well in hand and will be delivered.
The estimate is for 15 – 20 hours to complete.
The other project is not so well in hand but there is an outline and a plan of attack.
Things are moving in the right direction, and all will be revealed in good time.

That’s what FaceBook, YouTube, X, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. are designed to do.
Distract you and keep you on their platform because the longer they can keep you there the more money they make .
Do you think Mark Zuckerberg spends time liking or commenting on FB posts?
Does Neal Mohan spend his day scrolling through YouTube videos?
What about Sundar Pichai?
Do you think he spends much time searching for interesting things?
Nope, these people run the companies that distract you.
They’re too busy making money to be distracted , and that’s what we need to do.
Yes, I’m just as guilty as you.
I spend too much time watching YT videos, not so much on FB, but it doesn’t matter what your distraction is, it still costs you money .
The cost is the opportunity cost.
Next time you catch yourself idly scrolling through your timeline or driving down the YT or TT rabbit hole ask yourself.
“What could I be doing right now that will either bring people to my pages or improve sales?”
That’s what you should could be doing instead.
There are only two things – traffic and sales .
Even this email is a distraction, but hopefully one that will help you be distracted less.
Regards, Brent.
P.S. The game I told you about yesterday, https://blog.wm-tips.com/lasermaze , is also a distraction.
But, because many people are looking for distractions this is a great way to get people to my page and keep them there for a while.
That’s why I built it.
When I put the ads on the page I will drive traffic to it, but you get to see it without the ads.
Just don’t spend too long there.
Over the last few days I’ve been working with multiple AI tools to recreate a game that I played on a Mac Plus in the late 90’s.
͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏
Over the last few days I’ve been working with multiple AI tools to recreate a game that I played on a Mac Plus in the late 90’s.
I have tried several times over the years, but my programming skills were/are not up to the task.
Ai to the rescue.
The interesting thing to me is that even the AI tools struggled with this.
I used Rosebud, Townie, ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek, Qwen, and finally Grok before I got what I wanted, well mostly.
All of them got part way there and then got flaky and fell apart.
So, this is the game https://blog.wm-tips.com/lasermaze .
Apparently it doesn’t work on mobile, which doesn’t surprise me as that was never part of the scope.
Now, for the bit you actually want to know.
Why would I spend time doing this?
Games are huge.
The traffic you can get for a game is massive and there is money to be made by people downloading games.
So, the page this is on will get links to downloadable games.
The page itself will attract a lot of people as long as I put up a leader board for who gets through the most levels before crashing out.
The longer people stay on the page the better Google will like it and the more organic traffic it should get.
There are other ways to monetise this page but that’s enough for now.
Go have a look, please don’t spend too much time on it, I got to level 7 .
Regards, Brent.
You probably know that I’ve been playing around with writing apps with the AI tools for a while now.

You probably know that I’ve been playing around with writing apps with the AI tools for a while now.
I’ve had some successes and lots of failures.
Most of the AI tools work pretty much the same way so you can use whichever one you like.
They all seem to favour using React as their Javascript framework. but that’s a PITA to use for a website because you have to install it on your server and most won’t allow you to do that.
So, if you want to do tricky stuff on your web host, use Perl for the backend if you can’t get the AI to do it all with PHP and vanilla Javascript.
You do not have to know or understand these languages to use them, the AI tools will tell you what you need to do to make it all work.
Modularise your work, again the AI tools will help you here if you ask them to make the code in modules.
Your web host or your operating system on your PC, tablet, or ‘phone wouldn’t work if the software wasn’t modularised.
Try to keep the modules down to 200 lines or so .
That’s not a hard rule, but I’ve found that once you get over 300 lines the AI gets pretty flaky.
Keep your apps simple, preferably one solution to one problem .
Project creep is the bane of programmers and it’s no different here.
Get the core of your app working before you try to pretty it up.
Form and function are more important than fluff.

Most of the people failing to make any decent money online are making the same mistake.
That is they are t rying to make money rather than building a business.
I know, you don’t want a business, but hear me out because it’s not what you’re thinking.
It’s not like a 3D world business where you have to go into a premises everyday and deal with customers.
The Internet is different, but you still need to treat it like a business.
You do need to be focussed on one thing.
Often that’s a micro-niche that you know something about.
You do not have to be an expert because as you do the work you’ll naturally learn more and more about that niche, and the bulk of your visitors will know far less than you.
Usually, when you focus on one thing for 30 days you will begin making a trickle of income that will encourage you to keep going.
If you have something started and you decide you don’t want to do this any more, sell it.
Flippa.com , acquire.com , or any of the other website sales platforms.
You’ll gain at least three things from the exercise.
You’ll learn some new skills.
You’ll know what you don’t want to do.
You’ll still make some money from your efforts.
Take an hour out of your busy day and focus on building a business that will make money.
How hard can it be?
You don’t need to spend any money because all the tools are free .

You’re going to laugh at this, but if you take the time to do some research you might find that this works.
Do a quick search on YT and see that some of these have had millions of views.
This is an almost hands-free way to pull traffic from FB, YT, TT, etc.
Ask AI to make you a cute cat, dog, puppy, or kitten image (stop laughing, I haven’t finished).
Take that image to Sora or one of these tools –
Pika Labs
RunwayML (limited free tier)
Kaiber (limited free plan)
Kapwing (basic free version)
D-ID (free trial)
Lumen5 (limited free plan)
There are others, just search and test to find what you like.
Make a short video to post on FB, YT Shorts, TikTok etc.
These stupid things get heaps of traffic and shares .
If you have the cat/kitten dog/puppy doing something relevant to your product you can add a link and you will get targeted visitors .
I know it sounds like a dumb thing to do, but those cat and dog videos and memes get tons of traffic .
The thing about bulk random traffic is that there are always people in there who are your target market.
We keep forgetting that.
Sure, 1, 000 targeted visitors might be what you want, but there is probably 1,000 or more in every 100,000 random groups.
Getting the bulk random traffic is much easier because no marketer is trying for those , they’re all going for the same keywords and the competition is fierce.
Get the unwanted traffic in bulk and flip them to what you want.
Regards, Brent.

Yeah, sure buddy.
It can, but you’ll need to be strategic about this.
Do you think that you have the skill set required to make a one or two page website that will generate $7 average daily?
Can’t be too hard now can it?
Almost any sub-niche with traffic from FB, Instagram, Pinterest et al can do that, even if it’s only with Adsense .
The old school training was all about only having one link for the visitor to click, and that was their affiliate link.
Today I’m suggesting that is an incredibly short-sighted concept.
Provide a page with good and useful content.
On that page you have various links to your affiliate bridge page (that’s the second page) in the body of the text, but you also have ad blocks with adsense or banners on the page.
You also have an exit pop for your affiliate bridge page, or an alternative.
We know that most sales pages convert at less than 10%, you might as well tempt the other 90% to click something else that can make you money.
Once you’ve got one of these dialled in it’s pretty simple to repeat the process with another simple site.
Some of these will make more or less than $7 daily, but when you have multiples of them ticking away the riches begin to look real.
That reminds me of a farmer I knew who was on a pretty poor bit of land.
He invented a machine that bent bits of wire into clips for a particular type of fence.
The machines ran 24/7 and he told me that he had retired from farming because he found he preferred to stand in his shed watching the machines make him $1,000 a day.
He only got $0.01 per clip profit.
Don’t ignore the small wins, they mount up.
Regards, Brent.
