Let me explain. We all know that opens are unreliable because not everyone has images turned on for their emails. That’s a security issue and you should keep images turned off. That means you’ll never know how many people on your email list are reading the emails. The metric that I thought was reliable was the clicks, but it seems that’s not reliable either. Recently one of my emails appeared to have a low count of clicks, but when I checked the stats in the tracking software the click count was almost ten times what the autoresponders reported. The tracking software is correct, or at least more correct. The issue is that the autoresponder companies will rate your subscriber engagement by the number of clicks you get. If they can’t count them accurately you risk your account being relegated to a lower quality server. This will impact your deliverability. So you need to make sure that your email list is a clean as possible and there are no other impediments to getting your emails into your subscribers inbox. Use this to find out where your issues are. https://link.wm-tips.com/dmarc Regards, |
