It seems that all the younger (than me, which is most) people online want to be influencers on one of the social media platforms. For some reason they believe that putting themselves out there and getting lots of views and followers is the best way to make a living online. Sure, that can work, but there is a much simpler, and faster, way to do it. Buy an expired domain name that has some ranking pages and rebuild it with AI. Lean in here, the traffic you generate is worth money. I have 23 aged domains in CloudFlare, those are not the only domains I have. The total visitor numbers for those 23 domains for the last month is a bit over 168,000. That’s just over 2 million visitors a year that I do nothing with. I hope you’re not as stupid as me. None of them are SEO optimised, none of them have any paid traffic going to them, none of them have hundreds of links going to them, and none of them are getting content added regularly. Honestly, they are all just experimental and a bit rubbish. My next project, after the Auto-Blogging one, will be to add monetisation to those websites. That seems to be a project for the Christmas – New year break. What this proves is that you don’t need to be flashy, or noisy. You just have to do more than I have, which shouldn’t be hard, and do it consistently. When your site gets to the level of visitors these have, getting $0.01 per visitor equates to $1,600 every month. Getting $0.01 per visitor is easy. Isn’t that worth a little of your time and money?
