One problem we all encounter as creators is that we live in a competitive world.

We are brainwashed to think success means being better than the competition.

Can you make a better hamburger than McDonalds?

Face it, they are pretty ordinary burgers.

Why then are they such a big organisation?

Almost anyone can make a better burger.

I’ve had better burgers in cafes 200 miles from the nearest Maccas.

Being better isn’t the criteria for success.

Being different is.

Maccas was the first hamburger shop to provide a consistent standard.

It doesn’t matter if you are in London, Paris or Hong Kong, their burgers are always the same.

You know exactly what you are going to get.

How does that work for you though?

It frees you up with your content and product creation.

You don’t have to be better than the competition, you only have to be different, and we are all different, so it’s easier.

All you have to do is allow your personality to show through, and you’re on the right track.
