Is that why people keep buying shiny objects? They don’t need them? And the strange thing is that most people who buy them never ask for a refund. They assume the failure must be their fault. It usually isn’t. Many of those products never worked in the first place. These days a lot of them are also AI slop. AI is a tool, not something to worship. It’s like buying a shiny new spade. The spade won’t dig the hole by itself. There might be a learning curve. But with a bit of instruction and guidance you’ll master it. AI tools are exactly the same. They’re useful tools. Not magic.
