Assuming that you have already collected information on the subject, writing a 500-word article should be done in 30 minutes or less. Give yourself 1 minute to choose the subject. A good starting place is any ideas that can solve someone else’s problem. One problem, one solution per article. Brainstorm for ideas for ten minutes. Just write all the ideas down, no spell-checking, no second-guessing, flood the page or screen with thoughts. Times up – read through what you’ve written and dump anything that doesn’t make sense. You’ve got ten minutes to make corrections, add stuff to make a point clearer and delete any crap. Read through again, fine-tune the article, then take a short break. Come back, read it through again and make any improvements you think are required but forget about perfection. Stop there. No more tweaking. Accept less than 100% perfection. Post your article. Imperfect published articles make more money than unpublished perfect ones. Regards, P.S. You can get faster than this with practice and the help of tools. Two tools I use almost every day are Grammarly https://go.wm-tips.com/grammarly. And Frase https://go.wm-tips.com/frase. Frase speeds up the process of research and writing so I can belt out a 500 – 1,000 word article in less than 30 minutes. It’s usually pretty accurate, but Grammarly fine-tunes it for me. Online, your business success is determined in part by how much content you have posted. Belt it together, put a buy button on it or a link to a sales page and publish. Do it again tomorrow and the next day. Take each piece of published content and repurpose it to post everywhere. |
