It seemed that almost everything that could go wrong did go wrong. The first problem showed up yesterday when I hooked the van up to the Pajero. 99% of the time, an earth fault is the cause of lighting issues with anything you tow. After around 6 hours of testing, rewiring and other assorted activity, I replaced the plug and restored proper functioning. Reversing only made things worse, so it was time for the remote tug. Now I had the van out on the road with the Pajero in place, ready to hook up again. The remote tug is too big to get the van hooked up, so I have to change the support over for the jockey wheel. As I raised the drawbar, the van moved sideways. With a lot of juggling and some brute force, I did get everything hooked up and locked away. We’re now in the caravan park at Bordertown, my and my wife’s hometown. We will not be doing any visiting tomorrow as we need to be in Melbourne tomorrow afternoon. Having enough money to be able to travel when we want and the time freedom to go with that is a beautiful thing. Would you like some of that? P.S. There are only a couple of ways of doing that. If you have a sufficiently fast connection to the Internet, you could set up a dedicated computer to be a public-facing server. That’s where I can help you. To be effective, you’ll need an autoresponder and something to entice them to sign up. That’s the bare minimum Then grab a lead magnet from the link below. Now, I’m doing something that some might consider to be pretty stupid. In this email only Yes, no sign-up is required. Grab what you want, but please don’t share this link anywhere. |
