On Monday I had a telephone consultation with an Orthopaedic specialist to discuss my latest bicycle accident. He confirmed what the last imaging specialist told me. That the only damage, apart from bruising, was a cracked collar bone. It’s still in one piece so no lifting heavy things, like grandchildren, and patience are the cure. I don’t have to wear a sling, but I do when I’m likely to be in a crowd. The important thing was that he cleared me to drive. My wife was much relieved to learn that she was not driving to Melbourne as the sole driver. We did two hour stints at the wheel for the 8 hour trip. In two days we repeat the trip in the opposite direction. This time with a dog. That’s the main reason for the trip. The Melbourne kids are moving back to Adelaide in January, and we get to look after their dog until they arrive. No link today, if you’re looking for a bargain, check out yesterday’s email.
