WTF is an API? This is the acronym for Application Program Interface, and it’s how people get access to other platforms to do cool stuff. For example, if you wanted to create an simple weather tool for your website you could find one online and download it. Alternatively, you could ask Claude, Gemini, Grok, Val.town, etc. to write one for you using this API – That’s not the only weather API available, but that one’s free for non-commercial use. Sometimes limited, sometimes extensive. You should see what Amazon has available, or Google, etc. You really don’t have to know how to use one, all you need is to find one you like and point the AI to it. Lucky for you, I found a great list of APIs you can use. Check this out:- https://github.com/public-apis/public-apis?tab=readme-ov-file#weather. Have fun. Regards, |
