It was the first time since the August incident, and I had no trauma with it. I didn’t think it would bother me, and it didn’t. I did go down much slower than I was going the day I crashed. Today’s speed had nothing to do with the crash; it’s purely due to the fact that there is a blind corner at the bottom. My cycling buddy and I decided that we were changing our cycling habits. Instead of going as fast as possible down the hills, we’ll go as fast as possible up the hills and coast down to recuperate. That should be better for our leg strength and stamina than taking advantage of gravity. We’ve been riding on an easier track to prepare for this one for a few weeks now, but we both found it harder than we remember. Still, it won’t take us long to get back to where we were. Like everything in life, you shouldn’t let setbacks prevent you from moving forward. There are always and will always be setbacks and obstacles. Learn from them and keep moving. Regards, P.S. The project I was working on has also had a setback. It seems that the company doesn’t want to pay the affiliate commissions. Bastards. Anyway, I’ll find another way to generate income from very cheap traffic. In the meantime, I’m setting up some tiny income sites using this method. |
