When you have a wireless mesh network throughout the house and it dies… …there’ll be tears before bedtime. Today, the wireless printer wouldn’t work. The network it can see isn’t there. OK, resort to cable printing, remember that? Where the *bleep* is the USB cable that fits the printer? 1/2 hour of searching later, success. Let’s run the robo vac. Nope, no zone control, no network for that either. Automation is great, but. The new mesh network should be here in two days. I’m pretty sure I can manage until then. Yeah, I know, first-world problems. Pretty petty compared to some. Regards, P.S. My wife calls the robo vac Denise. That is the name of my first wife and it amuses us to have her doing our vacuuming. Simple things. |
