If that’s not irony, I don’t know what is. The odd thing about all the emails I’ve been getting about the death of emails as a marketing tool is that most of them have been promoting their Social Media marketing tool. That is all very well, but all the Social Media platforms notify me and you about events by email. Huh? If email is dead and Social Media is the way to grow, why do they email me to get me back on their platforms? And why do they want an email address to sign up or log in and send an email for you to confirm that your email address is valid? No, email is not dead. It’s not even on life support. Emailing others is still the highest Internet activity there is. Of course you should embrace any of the Social Media platforms that take your fancy. Build an audience there but focus on getting that audience into an email list so if/when that platform dumps you for some unknown infraction, you’ll still have your main audience backed up on your computer. If you don’t have a way to collect emails and don’t know where to start, this will get you going. https://go.wm-tips.com/4-in-1. Regards,
