I was initially suspicious because when there is a political leak, it’s never an accident.

It’s always a deliberate leak in an attempt to gain some political advantage.

It’s also often taken completely out of context.

As I said, I was suspicious, but apparently, these documents are real, and the leak was accidental.

How does it help you?

It points out that the most important thing you can do to boost your ranking is two-fold.

Get better quality backlinks and create better content.

The second one will help you get the first one.

There are other things in there, but creating better content will also solve those.

Nowhere does it say you can’t use AI to help you create that content, but we all know that AI content tools don’t always create good content.

However, they mostly create OK content, so improving it is usually pretty easy.

You can create that content with AI and then push it through Grammarly to tidy it up.

Now, you’ll have better content that will rank somewhere.

Once you have identified your rank for that page, compare it to the best pages above you.

Do whatever you can to improve your content based on what Google is showing you, which is what their searchers want.

How do they know?

They use Chrome data to identify which links people click on most, improving the page’s ranking.

The takeaway is that your content should be written for the end user.

When it is, Google will reward you with more visitors, and that’s ultimately what you want.

Does the leak change anything?

Nope, it’s what Google has been saying for years.

P.S.  If you don’t want to play around with SEO, you’ll either need to buy traffic or put your content on platforms with their own audience.

One benefit of putting content on those platforms is that Google also searches and follows links.

They also monitor the behaviour of the users.

You can get an SEO benefit from a TikTok video, but you’d probably get a better one from a YouTube video.
