The #4 is Password. Is it any wonder that people get hacked? When the News of The World journalists were prosecuted for phone hacking, most of the public thought they were super hackers. Nothing could be further from the truth. Most people never change the default login details for their phones. All the NotW Journos did was use two phones to call the number of the target celebrity. If they got a dial tone they hung up. If they didn’t they used the default access details to login to the messages of the target phone. As far as I’m concerned, anyone who doesn’t change their default login details deserves to be hacked. It’s the same with WordPress sites. Most people don’t change the default login details, or, if they do, they only change the password. I always change the login details, but, to piss off the hackers, I set the nickname and display name to Admin. When hackers arrive, as they will, they’ll assume that I didn’t change the username and waste time trying to hack the password. Most of my sites also have 2FA backup security as well. The only websites I have had hacked in the last 20 years were ones that I hadn’t completed armouring. You don’t need expensive security plugins, you just need to play a little smarter. Playing smarter is what you do when you use AI to assist you in discovering angles to market products. You don’t need expensive tools to help you with this, all you need is some guidance on how to ask the AI tools the right questions.
