The thing about perfection is that no one ever reaches it. Many try, but it’s an unattainable goal. That doesn’t mean you should slap up any old crud that took you ten minutes to think up and ask ChatGPT to make for you. What you produce should be as good as you can make it in a reasonable time frame and then it’s good enough to release. One of the reasons I have so many half finished projects online is that they never got much traction so I couldn’t be bothered doing any more work on them. It hasn’t always been like that. There have been several projects that I spend months, in one case years, trying to make them as good as I could, but even they ended up abandoned. These days I go with an MVP, a Minimum Viable Product and test it. If it works them I might make a better version, or not. There have been instances of me putting up an offer before I start the project. No one interested? Then I won’t bother. I seem to be pretty good at finding those projects. Twice I’ve managed to build quite an audience on FB in two different groups, but not done enough with them. But that’s what I would suggest for anyone who hasn’t done much yet. Build your audience somewhere. Once you’ve done that then you’ll have a good idea about what they want and you can offer it to them. That’s a good place to start.
