The last ten days have been trying. Our son and his family flew in from Melbourne ten days ago. Their kids are a three-year-old and a seven-month-old. The three-year-old is going through that stage of asserting her independence at every stage. Everything is a negotiation. That is very wearing. The baby is teething. Parents will know what that means. We moved out of our home and allowed them to have the run of the place and one of our cars. We were house-sitting for friends, but only overnight. Today, they flew back to Melbourne. We have almost completed putting our home back into our order. I do not want to do that again. Of course we love them all, but we are a very quiet couple, and they are not. The quiet in our home tonight is wonderful. We still have their dog, and we will be returning him in a few weeks time when we set off on our FNQ adventure. For those not familiar with that acronym, FNQ stands for Far North Queensland. I’m going to visit a friend who has moved to Cairns. After that visit, we’ll gradually drift back home over the course of several months. It’s a lot of driving. For the full trip, we’ll cover between six to ten thousand kilometres, that is between 3,400 to 6,200 miles. As usual, I will be emailing from the road. Regards, Brent. P.S. What did you think of the sales page training? I accept any comments. You never know. Yours might end up on the sales page. This one: https://50s-training.newzenler.com/courses/easy-sales-pages. It’s the concepts that are the most useful because you can use them wherever you need to persuade people to take some action. |
