Knowing that you do not know is the best. Not knowing that you do not know is an illness. ~ From the Tao Te Ching, by Lao-Tzu (poem 71) It’s only the truly ignorant who know everything. And you can hear them pontificating to any polite ear. Someone who is too polite to call them out because they know that the pontificator has no idea what they are talking about. The last man to know everything there was to know at the time was Thomas Young who died in 1829. He was a Polymath who knew 13 languages by the age of 14. Even then he was a rarity. Today there is no one who could possibly come close, no matter how smart they think they are. Genius is a word that’s too easily bandied about and mostly is incorrect. Even the AI tools do not know everything and will make stuff up when they don’t know. However, you do not have to know everything about any subject to be seen as an expert in that field. You only have to know more than the people you are talking to. Fortunately, that’s not hard at all, and you can use AI to help. You may need to crosscheck some AI-generated facts, but all you need to do is find another two or three references to establish those facts. Did you know that you don’t need to know a prompt to use one? Ask the AI to create the prompt and then act on it. As an example, try this. I got an excellent and extensive response. You could edit this to get a great response for any niche or sub-niche. Have fun. Regards, P.S. When you’ve become a recognised expert, you’ll still need to have a way to communicate with your fans. https://go.wm-tips.com/sr-list. |
