The professionals make it look easy, but it’s not. I’ve helped move two ‘fridges in two weeks. The first one was a big one. It didn’t fit through the doorway, so we had to remove the doors. This made it lighter and easier to move. Lucky. We put that one onto the back of a small tray-top truck without a ramp, so two of us lifted it. Of course, we had to lift it off again. The second one was easier because it was smaller. It fit through the doorway, and we had a trailer with a ramp for this move. Both tasks were completed successfully. The whole time I was moving these fridges, I was reminded of watching Dean Lukin win Gold at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. He lifted 240 kg. The average weight of a two-door French refrigerator is 135 kg. We struggled to lift one, and he lifted the equivalent of two LG French refrigerators over his head. It’s amazing what training can do for you. The thing about training is that you can’t do it on your own, not totally. You have to do what the trainer tells you to, but you need someone who knows what to do and what mistakes you’re making. You can’t correct nothing. You can correct activity because you get good and bad results. If you’re not getting the results you want, I have a couple of mentoring slots available. https://nomad-productions.convertri.com/mentor. Regards, |
