It wasn’t the YouTube rabbit hole this time. I was sorting through my 3Gb external H.D. for PLR products I can use for the next project. Some of these had zip files that I hadn’t unpacked, so I was doing that as I continued checking bundles etc. Then files began disappearing from the list. Have you ever had that happen? Fairly quickly, the 2Gb of files completely vanished from the window. What to do? Since I’m an experienced computer tech, I didn’t panic. I know that files don’t get deleted, they only become “invisible” to the operating system. It was late, and I didn’t want to make things worse, so I shut it all down for the next day. I ended up having to buy some software, but I did recover the hard drive contents and repair the issue that caused the problem in the first place. However, it has set my project back by several days. Obstacles happen, they should not prevent you from moving forward, even though they may cause you to pause in your progress. Regards, P.S. Most of my focus is on adding products to the Substack members area. Most of them will be for the subscribers to provide them with excellent value for their support. There will be some that will be available to everyone for free. All of them will be available at some price, such as the new course. The new course is an 8-day training module to take you through creating a product and selling it using only free tools. The course itself is a product I made with those free tools as part of the training. One video, not really part of the course, shows how to make the videos in the course. I made that one with Camtasia even though I could probably have used another free tool to do that as well. If you would like to learn how to make a video with free tools, you’ll find that one here . |
