Some misguided people will tell you to hustle until your reach your goals. 99% of your hustle is wasted effort without a proper plan in place. If you’ve ever worked in a large organisation, you will have seen some of your colleagues glide through their day and effortlessly hit their KPIs. Others grind, hustle, start early & finish late and still fail to hit their KPIs. Why do you think that is? The hustlers don’t know what to focus on, so they try to do everything and fail to get the important stuff done. That’s because they don’t understand that not everything has the same level of importance. The smooth operators only do the important things well and gloss over unimportant ones. Since, in most organisations, 80% of what you get asked to do is unimportant, all they do is the remaining 20%. It’s so much easier to do 20% than 100% in a day. How do you apply this to your Internet business? You simplify it. Start with the result that you want. Work backwards. What is required for this result to occur? What is required for those prerequisites? What’s great about working backwards is you’ll get the minimum pieces and steps. For whatever reason, your brain can’t make an overly complicated or fluffy squishy weak plan when thinking back to front. Then, put all your effort into this and only those pieces and parts and tasks until you are done. You will probably find you have energy left over. In which case, do it again. Regards, P.S. My new course shows you how to do the minimum to create a product and sell it using free tools. The same method can sell products as an affiliate or PLR products. It isn’t necessary to re-invent the wheel here. Put your effort into the 20% that makes money rather than the 80% that doesn’t. |
