Nope, not at the dentist. The house has moved slightly, most houses do a bit. There was a gap between the cornice and the wall that let crap fall into the lounge. Today I was on a step ladder filling the gap. Up and down, up and down. Then I didn’t step up properly so I stepped back down hurriedly. Uh oh. Crash. The TV hit the floor. They are so unstable these days, in the 60’s there is no way I could have knocked one over so easily. I finished the job, it wasn’t going to fall any further. When I stood it up I thought it might be OK still as there wasn’t a cracked screen, but the antenna socket was out of alignment. Nope. No TV signal. Everything else appears to work fine, at the moment, but TV is important for some in this house, and the cricket season isn’t far away. So, off we went to replace it. The base level price for a reasonable TV is just under $1k. So, that’s how filling gaps costs that much. I promised my wife I wouldn’t break another TV this week. She’s happy with the filled gaps, so I’m not in trouble. Regards, P.S. Have you seen those YouTube videos talking about making money watching ads? Did you know that it is possible, but not the way they talk about. The way to do it is to watch the ads on TikTok that get a lot of views. Identify the product they’re promoting. Find a source that will pay you for the same or similar product. Make your own video promoting the product, and link to a bridge page that gives a suitable free product for their email, but send them to the product page regardless.
