It seems that there are far more jobs than people wanting to work at the moment. Is it the same in your area? I blame the Covid shutdowns for this. All of our working kids, except two, can and do work from home more than they go into an office. One who can’t is a chef, the other is a University lecturer. That’s the big advantage of work being done via a computer, you can pretty much work anywhere. I suspect that office spaces will shrink because of this as companies will understand that they don’t need as much floor area. I also think that more and more work will be sent off-shore from first-world countries as companies realise that workers are cheaper elsewhere, but I don’t think that’ll happen for a year or two. Mainly because there will have to be extensive training to get the same standard of work being done. That is not to disparage anyone in a second or third-world country because I think they have the same potential, but they haven’t had the exposure to the same influences or perhaps education as they grow up. That makes a difference. Will it happen? I don’t know, it’s just a thought I’ve had for a while. What do you think? Regards, P.S. What will the kids who won’t be getting jobs in their countries do for a living? They’ll all want to work on their computers from home, or the coffee shop, or the beach. Anywhere they have an Internet connection will do. Some will build blogs, some will create courses, some will become affiliates. What they will all need is an audience to promote stuff to. That’s what an Influencer really is. Someone who has an audience. Currently the best known Influencers are celebrities, but that’s changing as the rest of us wake up to how profitable and simple it can be. Watch this video: https://go.wm-tips.com/crowd. |
