And banned me from opening another or buying from thie site ever again. Well, I figured that I needed to find out why. They said they sent me an email with a please explain that I didn’t respond to. Funny thing about that. I searched my email account and didn’t find anything from Etsy warning me of a potential shutdown. So, I emailed them to find out. It’s bloody difficult to contact anyone at Etsy unless you have an account. I couldn’t log in because they’ve closed my account. I can’t set up a new account and then raise the issue because it won’t cross-reference correctly. I’m not sure yet if I can open another account with a different email address. Anyway, on Reddit I found a link to a contact form. I used that, responded to their automated response, and… …crickets. There are other store platforms that I can use so I’ll get going on one of those. But it does tick me off that these people are so arrogant that you can’t contact them unless you have an account. That’s not called customer service. Conversely, I had an email discussion with another company who were fully proactive in the discussion until I told them my budget. At that point the email conversation stopped. Greedy bastards. I won’t be doing business with them again either. All of you who have responded to my email know that I will write back, even if I don’t understand your email. Yes, that has happened on several occasions. I’m not too proud to talk to you about anything you like, so feel free to reply. Regards, P.S. I went looking for some of those foam pads that go on headphones and found an interesting thing. I couldn’t buy a single or a pair, I only needed one, but they come in packs of five, ten, or more. They only cost around $2 online, but I couldn’t find any locally. So, I bought a good set of Bone-Conducting headphones. I have bought others online that have proved to be quite useless, but these are the same as the one’s I bought my wife for her birthday that she uses daily. Don’t waste time fluffing around with the el cheapos, get a decent set and enjoy them. They are so worth it. |
