They’re currently around 2-3% which means you are wasting most of those hard-won visitors. The main reason is that most people have seen so many crappy thrown-together PDFs that they just don’t work anymore. What does work? The answer is anything the visitor would be happy to pay for. Do you have to own it yourself? No, you don’t. Does it have to be valuable? To the potential subscriber, definitely. You know that almost anything you want to know is freely available online, if you know how to search or use AI. But people will always pay to save time or money. When you can collect, collate, and distill the free information in a way that makes it easily digestible you can make a lot of money. As a demonstration I put this together. https://nomad-productions.convertri.com/yt. When you see this page the first thing you see is a YouTube video, then you get an overlay. The overlay can be anything you want, but I would normally put a form on it that must be filled in before the visitor can watch the video. You’ll still need to offer them some sort of bonus for their email address and a PDF might work here is it’s a checklist or similar. There’s no signup here, simply click the button as if you’d subscribed. This was easy to do in Convertri, and it wouldn’t be much harder on a WordPress site. I don’t know about other platforms, but it shouldn’t be too difficult for most as it’s really only a timed pop-up. Click the link to test this, then reply to this email and let me know what you think. Regards, |
