This is based on the fact that the Googlebot and their algorithm treat subdomains as separate entities to the main domain.

They have to. 

Millions of subdomains are not connected to the primary domain name other than by being part of the URL.

They even own a few.

Blogger.com and Google sites have millions of subdomains attached like limpets.

Then you have sites like WordPress.com, Livejournal.com, Tumblr.com, Typepad.com and many more.

Understanding this is the key to the platform I’m introducing now.
