The first step to a successful business is identifying your niche. So let’s define niche because there’s a whole pile of BS about this one. A niche is a group of people with similar desires or needs. They could be tennis players, or pickleball players, or golfers, or cyclists, or people trying to start a family, or start a relationship, or save one. A niche is not a keyword, nor is it a market, it is a group of people. What do you do when you find one or are part of one? You do some research and find out where they congregate. Are they in a forum, on a FB group, is YouTube their bag, perhaps it’s Pinterest, etc. It may be in all of these. Now what? Now you work out what medium reaches them the best. That might be search, video, website, articles, podcast, etc. Now you’ve figured out who they are, where they are and how to reach them. From there you can identify their desire, what they want. Do they want a better serve, or a longer drive, or ride faster, etc. Use the medium to reach them with a message that resonates with them and give them something valuable. Get them on an email list. Find things that are a natural fit to solve their wants that you can get paid for and you’ve got a business happening. With AI this becomes so much easier than it was before AI, but the process is still the same. Regards, P.S. It just proves the Internet is dynamic. I’ve fixed it now so when you go to this page, |
