It’s still there. https://www.blogger.com/blog/post/edit/1007818/111853081054596622. Notice the date for that post. Google had already bought out the original creator by then. Actually, I’m not sure that it was my first post, but it almost certainly was my first blog post. I think I already had a website running by then and had been forced to deal with hackers. Historical information is interesting, but only as a learning experience. Which is what all of that was. While researching this email, I discovered that I have 15 other Blogger blogs that I’ve been ignoring for maybe 20 years. We all get distracted by life and other things. Things we were doing fall by the wayside and we try different things. Where do you think any of those sites would have been if I had been focused and spent my time online driving traffic to any one of them? I suspect that in 20 years, I could have grown the traffic to over a million visitors a month or more. Even with only AdSense on the pages, that level of visitors would have turned any of those blogs into an online ATM. My email list could now be numbering hundreds of thousands and also be a cash cow. But they’re not. My email list is nowhere near that level. When you look at things like that, it’s much easier to see why putting your head down and doing the work must pay off as long as you persist. I know what to do, you know what to do, but do we do it consistently and persistently? I know I don’t. You can see the proof in this email. Find one thing to do, then stick to it. Your main job with your Internet business is showing up daily and driving traffic. This’ll help: https://go.wm-tips.com/diamond. Regards, |
