The first recorded vegetarian was Robert Cook, a 17th-century Irish farmer. He refused to eat any meat or wear anything from an animal. He was teetotal to the extent that he only drank water. He also only ate pulses, corn and other vegetables. While he died in 1726 at the age of 80, he was better known for another odd behaviour. He never wore anything but white linen. Everything he wore, from underclothes, night clothes, shirts, suits, coats and hats, was made from white linen. He was even buried in a white linen shroud. All his cattle and horses had to be white as well. The English have always managed to generate and tolerate eccentrics. Perhaps it has something to do with the weather. Not really. All countries have their eccentrics and people who don’t fit the mould. It is a curiosity that when you follow along and do what most people do, you end up with what most people have. It’s those who step out of the mainstream and do things that others won’t do who move ahead. 80% of millionaires have a tertiary education. 80% of billionaires didn’t complete college. Does your education, or lack of it, hold you back? Only if you let it. The right education will guide you to the success you crave. You only have to apply it. Regards,
