Some pay more than others.

Those who think they can do better without help pay the highest cost. 

The tuition of hard knocks has a high price. 

Often in lost opportunity cost but also in costly mistakes and blind alleys.

Better to learn from the example of others.

In our current environment, the big dollars are earned by marketers, not the producers. 

The producers are cannon fodder.

The market doesn’t care how honest and hard-working you are. 

The market wants to see the value for itself.

80% of America’s millionaires earned their money themselves, and they did not inherit it. 

Most did not earn it by investing but by owning a business.

Looking at some of the wealthy people in the world, you know that it doesn’t take brains to become wealthy.

What it does take is consistent activity.

Sure there are some extremely clever people who are wealthy, but there are also many drop-kicks who are wealthy.

No, I was thinking today about how many people have great ideas but never follow through with them.

It’s not that they are stupid or lack enough skills to get started.

It’s more often that little voice in their head that says, “Who said you could build a business?”

Or they talk it over with a significant other who puts up resistance.

We all listen to people who have never done what we want to do, but they still have an opinion that says it won’t work.

How would they know?

Did they ever try anything significant?

Mostly the answer is no.

They are not the people to ask advice from.

Find someone who has done what you want to do or at least has built a business.

Talk things over with them.
