Many times visitors to Australia have planned their trip without understanding how big the country is. For those in the USA, Australia is the same size as the USA, with the population of New York City, most of whom live on the east coast. The rest is pretty empty. One cattle station is bigger than Texas and has a population of 6. For those in Europe, Australia is approximately twice the size of all of Europe, excluding Russia. The state I live in, South Australia, is five times bigger than the U.K., three times bigger than Germany, and not quite twice the size of France. Our population is 1.77 million, mostly living in Adelaide, the capital city. While we would love for you to visit, please take care with your travel arrangements.
