Have you ever considered what could happen if bribing officials became more competitive? Some departments might offer special deals. The police might offer 1/2 price fines plus one ‘get out of jail free’ card for minor crimes. These are some of the dumb things that wander through my head when driving long distances. It’s what happened today as we drove from Melbourne to Albury, about a five-hour trip. My poor wife thinks I’ve gone nuts. She has thought that for years really. However, it has occurred to me over many hours of driving that it’s a great time to brainstorm business ideas, blog posts, emails, new software, etc. I find driving to be a relaxing activity requiring only minimal concentration on the open road. I know that many people do not feel the same way. It’s the same with any activity. Some people find them easy, while others do not. The main difference, in my opinion, is the number of hours practise you’ve put in. The more practice, the better you perform and the easier you find it. It doesn’t matter what the activity is, more practise forces you to improve. People often say, “Practise makes perfect”, but I disagree. Perfect practise makes perfect. Who wants to be perfect? I just want to be better. What do you want? Regards, P.S. You’ll get better results when you practise making more offers.
