When I was starting out on this MMO trip I played with some of those traffic exchanges.

You know the type, you earn visits by viewing other people’s ads.

The challenge is that everyone else is also doing the same thing.

They click, wait the required passage of time to click again.

They’re not interested in your ad other than a means to get other, disinterested people to view their ad.

One thing they are all interested in is getting traffic to their site.

The odd thing is that most of the ads are not offering traffic or traffic methods.

The other thing is that they don’t want to click on your ad because it interrupts their clicking, which they want to get through as quickly as possible.

So I ran an ad that basically said, click here now to get more traffic – opens in new tab.

I set the entire ad to be the link so they didn’t have to click on a button or a link, but I did put a big red button on the ad.

That did generate a lot of traffic, most of it useless because they all wanted freebies, not to pay for anything.

I quit using them years ago, but I’m considering diving in again.

In the mean time, quality paid traffic is great.
