Avoiding the “What will I wear” dilemma.
For some people this is a daily problem. Try this on, nope. Try this, nope. It takes them so long to get dressed for the day that it makes them late for work. There are a number of highly successful people who worked out how to avoid that daily dilemma. They wear the same thing every day. Problem solved. Steve Jobs was famous for the black T-Shirt and jeans. He’s not the only one. I met a multi-millionaire here in Adelaide who always wore the same outfit. He wore suits with a white shirt and a tie. Black sox and shoes. When he travelled he carried a spare suit, and his personal things in a suit bag. No suitcase so only carry-on luggage. In every city he was in he bought a change of underwear and shirts which he left in the bin in the motel room. Each day the suit he wasn’t wearing got dry cleaned. That meant he was faster in and out of airports, taxis, and motels. He thought the small additional cost was justified in greater time efficiency. I do essentially the same. Not to the same extent, but I have a small selection of clothes that I wear depending on what I’m doing. I never have to ponder over what I’m going to wear. I try to do similar with my online activities. It’s best to have a consistent routine that is pushing you down the road to your personal and, financial goals. When you don’t have to decide every day what you are going to do everything gets easier and more streamlined. Reaching your targets begins to seem effortless and inevitable.
